AE338PWA Series

Outgassing Compliant Power Inductors

The AE338PWA Series is not recommended for new designs, but existing customers will continue to be supported. As an alternative, we recommend the AE338PZA Series which is a drop-in replacement.
AE338PWA Series features very low DCR and excellent current handling.
  • High temperature materials allow operation in ambient temperatures up to 155°C.
  • Passes NASA low outgassing specifications.
  • Soft saturation makes them ideal for VRM/VRD applications.
  • Tin-lead (Sn-Pb) termination for the best possible board adhesion.
  • Special construction allows it to pass vibration testing to 30 G and shock testing to 500 G.
  • Tin-lead (63/37) over tin over nickel over silver terminations.

Notes
  1. When ordering, please specify screening code: AE338PWA103MSZ.
  2. Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
  3. DCR measured on a micro-ohmmeter.
  4. SRF measured using Agilent/HP 4395A or equivalent.
  5. DC current at which the inductance drops the specified amount from its value without current.
  6. Current that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient.

Screening:

  • Z = Unscreened
  • Y = Unscreened (SLDC Option A)
  • W = Unscreened (SLDC Option B)
  • H = Group A screening per Coilcraft CP-SA-10001
  • G = Coilcraft CP-SA-10001 Group A (SLDC Option A)
